KIN 4400: Independent Research Study in Kinesiology

What is a Data Extraction Table?

Researchers use data extraction tables to keep track of the resources they have identified, and find connections between studies.  You are required to submit a data extraction table for your independent research study.

Tips for success:

  • Fill in your table as you go - don't try to fill it in at the end of your research project
  • Be brief, summarizing content that is relevant to your central research question
  • Use the document below as a template
